The department aims to produce quality engineers and technicians in the field of metallurgical engg branch. The infrastructure of department consists of two class room and 4 nos. of laboratory hall. The laboratories are foundry lab, M.T lab, Mineral dressing lab and metallography lab. The passed out students are employed in different industries as JSL, JSPL, and TATA BSL, Nalco, Sail and other metallurgical industries. Four nos. faculty with two lab. Instructors are engaged for teaching the students with a high dedication.
Department aims to produce vibrant human resources of high standard by offering quality education in Metallurgical Engineering through learning, Industry Institute interaction and experimental facility who can contribute to socioeconomic development and creation wealth of the nations.
To provide fundamental and advance science and Engineering knowledge in the Metallurgical Engineering to produce human resources employable in national and world basis .
To provide Experimental facility and practical skill in Metallurgical Engg. to create, interpret and apply technical knowledge in the Industry and make them technically skilled.
To provide understanding with Industry for improvement of teaching and learning activities of the students.
